Servicing Our Community

Organized in 1991, the Flemington-Raritan Business Association:

  • Promotes business for its members.
  • Works with local governments on behalf of its members to resolve problems.
  • Facilitates networking by holding quarterly membership meetings and participating in Business Expo and community events. Visit our Event Photos page.
  • Provides education programs valuable to business owners.
  • Informs area businesses of relevant information and organizational news through a newsletter.
  • Sponsors major events like the FRBA Classic Car Show and Hunterdon County Holiday Parade, as well as, hosts dinner honoring the "Business & community Leader of the Year".
  • Provides web site promotion for its members, links, advertising, etc.
  • Holds board and officer meetings held monthly on the first Wednesday of each month.
  • Raises money needed to fund educational scholarship for local high school.
  • Has members that work together to support community projects, like: Helping raise money for the Raritan Clock Project that was completed to honor the memory of Raritan Twp. residents, Alan Bondarkenko, Brian Hennessey and R. Mark Rasweiler, who lost thier lives in the terrorist attacks on our Nation, September 11, 2001; and Raising funds to install "historic looking" globe lights on the front of the new police department location on Main Street.
