The reason I only 60% in favour of leaving is because I think a European trade union makes a lot of sense pragmatically. My issue is how much political power should that “trade union” should reasonably have to do its job. The EU is currently forcing immigration on sovereign countries such as Hungry (which I personally morally comparable to the force immigration we practised in our history) and also in the process of planning a EU army.
Without religion what excuse would these people have for killing and terrorizing those they disagree with? I have no problem with people worshiping anything they want to. The problem is that they feel that due to the fact that they have convinced themselves that they are right, they have the right to treat any and all non believers as second or third class citizens. Very few christians will admit to supportting the actions of the Army of god.
